        The flow of blood during your menstrual cycle is generally a normal occurrence during heavy flow days of your period. Most women have undergone blood clots during periods at any point of time in their lives, sometimes blood clots may be large and it is a cause for concern.

        Menorrhagia is a condition defined as heavy flow bleeding than the regular flow during your cycle. If you change your tampons or pads often or release blood clots which are larger than it is the size of having heavy periods. You may also experience uncomfortable and pain.
